Our 9th Grade World Studies students who have Mr. Stibitz or Mr. Uhelski are working on a Oil Blog, but using a Wiki...complicated I know. We decided it was easier to group students on a Wiki and enable the comments section so they could respond to each others comments.
I think this is our 9th graders first experience with Wiki's and they seemed to enjoy it. Mrs. Miner did all the work to set up the Wiki and our 9th graders are furiously writing about their own oil consumption and commenting on their classmates sites. It's a great way to integrate technology into a meaningful discussion activity.
